The carpet at the Casino in Cherokee was the inspiration to make this quilt
We were there on (Jimmys) birthday and the quilt was made for him.

Ohio Star was the side I intended to be judged, but they judged the back (Irish Chain) and it placed Second






    
My Aunt Dorothy made the top and gave it to me.     I added a border and quilted it. I told her I was going to enter it.
unfortunately she died 12 days before I could tell her that it placed 3rd

I cut up my country and western clothes to make this - and used my t-shirts for this one.


    
Reversible quilt for my friend Jeanne
Her favorite colors are purple and blue
One side is the friendship star (purple) because of friendship, and the other is Log Cabin (blue) because I live in a Log Cabin



        
This took 95 pair of blue jeans to make but it is reversible
and my daughter loves to throw it in the car to take to trackmeets and games, etc.
